Choices

In both the New and Old Testament, God used the word ‘choice’ to refer to that which is of high quality. Looking at another use of the word, the FDA refers to the word ‘choice’ identifying the quality of the item. For example: the quality of meats or eggs could be ‘Grade A Choice’. Human Beings use this word if there is more than one option or selection, and a decision needs to be made.

We have a choice to follow Christ or not. In the Old Testament, Joshua presented a choice to the Children of God. He said, “But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD" Joshua 24:15 (NIV).

Today you are encouraged to choose hope, choose love, to choose life everlasting, choose Christ! Just say this simple prayer, “Father, forgive me of my sins. I believe that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that God, my father in Heaven, raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9-10). In Jesus Name, AMEN”. If you said this prayer, you chose Christ! Begin your new journey in a Bible Based Church in your area! Many blessings!
